life lately.

Tess + Tricia, a Minnesota-based mother-daughter jewelry designing duo, creates necklaces from antler tips, as well as beaded wrap bracelets that are absolutely to die for in a wear-with-anything way. Antler tips -- a sign of wisdom and courage -- are shed naturally, so don't worry about Bambi. Toss this pretty pendant on over a simple white V-neck with dark skinny jeans and a pair of flat sandals for the ultimate in summer chic.

Summer for me is really about the simple pleasures, and the weekends are my avorites: they're full of fun and alughter and really great food. Recent weeks have included a weekend road trip to visit my oldest friend (and to ingest a lot of Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee), a banner day at barre class, and enough seriously sunny days to finally drive the point that summer has arrived.

{celebrating my 100th class at PureBarre}

{the sunniest of days in downtown Minneapolis}

{denim cutoffs, a bright pedicure, and iced coffee from Dunkin' -- summertime perfection}

{the brilliant, sole decoration on my best friend's living room wall}

What have YOU been up to lately?

Thanks to Tess + Tricia for the photo.

Simple pleasures are the best ones! I've been focusing more on the little things and trying not to get so wrapped up in the big picture. PS- that necklace is cute. you should check out 31bits.com if you haven't heard of them- I think you'd like their collection!
