ATTAINABLE: Zara Dress with Shoulder Pads
www.zara.com; $89.90
I absolutely adore this dress. The shape is so chic and dynamic -- the shoulder pads make for strong lines without looking like an '80s throwback. The sleeves are perfection, and I love the length. Best of all, in my opinion, is the yellow color. Not an abrasive neon, this pretty shade is more buttery than highlighter-esque, making it the perfect backdrop for a fabulous statement necklace and simple pair of pumps.
There's something so ladylike about a full skirt. They bring to mind images of the South and tea parties. Whether solid or printed, knee-length or mini, pleated or with just enough structure to make them slightly A-lined, full skirts are a wardrobe staple. I'm especially fond of wearing one for weekend brunch with a pretty cardigan, sparkly jewelry, and a fabulous pair of shoes.
DEAL: Pim + Larkin Neon Jacquard Pleated Skirt
www.piperlime.com; $64
I'm more than a little obsessed with mint for spring, and this jacquard skirt is such a pretty representation of the hue. I love that it's slightly metallic, and the box pleats are truly darling. There's just enough structure in the fabric to create a killer shape, and while I especially love it styled with a denim jacket, I think that a tailored blazer would be a fabulous accompaniment as well.
EXTRAVAGANCE: Marc by Marc Jacobs Nata Print Silk Skirt
www.nordstrom.com; $258
This Marc by Marc Jacobs skirt is absolutely charming. The bold geometric pattern is in such fun hues, and would pair nicely with tights while the weather is still chilly but stand out perfectly against bare legs come warmer days. The elastic waistband and flippy shape look incredibly comfortable, and I'm willing to bet that the silk fabric is utterly luxurious.
DEAL: Madewell Silhouette Skirt in Lemon Twist (also in True Black)
www.madewell.com; $88
This Madewell piece is too sweet to resist. Although I love the lemon-yellow shade, I'm sure that it would look ridiculous against my winter-white legs -- making the black alternative perfect and versatile to boot. With a fabulous pair of wedges and pretty blouse, this little number is sure to attract all the right kinds of attention.
EXTRAVAGANCE: kate spade new york Henrieta Skirt
www.piperlime.com; $268
How cute is this Kate Spade skirt? The floral is classic for spring, but the bold colors and slightly abstract flowers keep it fresh. The pleats are flattering without being overwhelming, and despite being a loud print, would pair beautifully with everything in my closet. With a pair of classic pumps and a bright clutch, you can't miss.
Will YOU be wearing full skirts this spring?
xo Josie
Thanks to Zara, Piperlime, Nordstrom, and Madewell for the photos.

I'm so anti jeans right now. These skirts are adorable!
Of course I'm in love with the Marc by Marc Jacobs - it would work so well as a transition piece into fall, as well. :)
I plan to wear them all...long, short, pleated and with lace...

Great picks, Josie! They make me so excited for flirty spring outfits -- and bare legs. The Madewell one is definitely my favorite. A lovely shape and style at a great price! xo style, she wrote.
