Tweeds in the spring can be tricky, but I love this little Milly number.  It's such a chic length -- flattering but not too short.  The tweed is sophisticated, but the lemon-yellow highlights lighten it up beautifully for sunny days.  And the side zipper, with its sharply-contrasting hue, is the perfect detail to make this a truly unique piece.

With the promise of warmer weather on the horizon, I'm definitely ready to make some swaps -- it's time to change out my wool peacoats for rain-proof trenches, my favorite corduroys for lighterweight boyfriend jeans, and my winter-neutral nail colors for a set of much more Crayola-like hues.  As much as I'd love to dive into my favorite bright and neon polishes, temperatures are still a bit low and the sun isn't stretching quite far enough for me to break them out.  Pastel polishes seem to be my answer this spring -- from mint to peach, I find them so inspiring right now.
