It would be no exaggeration to say that I'm craving spring.  I'm tired of snow, I'm tired of wind, and I'm really, really tired of being cold.  Since it doesn't look like the weather plans to change anytime soon, though, I'm channeling my winter fatigue into searching for pretty spring wardrobe pieces -- like this charming mint peplum top.  I love that the light eyelet is a bit of a spin on what's quickly becoming a classic shape, and the color is simply to die for.

I never thought that I'd be quite so crazy for snowboots.  I vividly recall laughing at my dad as he laced up his Sorels every time it snowed and headed out to shovel the driveway (which I greatly, greatly appreciate, by the way).  And now?  I absolutely adore the style.  I think it's just slightly outdoorsy, the laces are fun, and they come in some great colors -- plus, being toasty warm and waterproof, they're about as practical as it gets in February.  I'm particularly fond of the duck boots paired with super skinny jeans and corduroys for a look that's surprisingly sleek and chic rather than frumpy.
