COVETING: Parker Stripe Sequin Dress in Teal
www.revolveclothing.com; $352
This Parker dress is the epitome of glamour: the deep, rich jewel tone, the open back, the slightly drapey shape, the lines of intricate beading -- and I find it totally impossible to resist. There's something about it that feels so special and unique, and I think that the color would be perfectly chic and definitely unexpected for spring.

It took me awhile to really come around to lace, but I truly adore it now. It's chic and, when done appropriately, incredibly ladylike. It can be dressed up in a little black dress with a great pair of pumps or down with a pair of boyfriend jeans, it can be classic or feel completely fresh. However, I tend to restrict it to the warm-weather seasons and put my lacy pieces away when temperatures begin to drop. I've been particularly inspired by the feminine fabric lately and have been trying to work it into my winter wardrobe -- and I'm completely smitten with lace-inspired jewelry, dark tones, and pretty accessories to help with this particular endeavor.
What's inspiring YOU today?

I LOVE lace. I think it is so pretty and feminine. The clutch you featured is perfect! A nice little evening bag that also could be taken to brunch. :)
I love Parker and lace! That Parker dress is fantastic, love the color. And of course colored lace is so in for Spring. Great picks.

It took me a while to get used to lace too, I find it can go either way... very classy and chic, or a trainwreck :)
Ohmigosh how incredible is that streetstyle {snowstyle?} look? I'm in love! :)
I love lace year-round! Although I do live in California ;) It's so easy to wear!
There's something about dresses or tops with an open back that take the whole outfit up a notch in my book. Sexy, yet still classy!
I love lace...I think it's gorgeous any time of the year. That black and white shirt you chose is so pretty!
