good enough to eat -- superbowl snacks.

COVETING: Paige Denim Velvet Verdugo Ultra Skinny
www.revolveclothing.com; sale (now) $133
I have a bit of a thing for velvet.  It's warm, luxurious, and oh-so-pretty.  Since temperatures of late have dipped to incredible depths, I find myself constantly reaching for pieces that are not only toasty-warm but also chic.  These Paige skinnies are the perfect thing to satisfy my needs: perfectly-cut, a neutral hue, and as easy to pair with leather boots as with a pair of pumps.

Although I can admittedly take or leave football, I take no issue with the Superbowl overtaking one Sunday each year -- if not for the commercials, then certainly for the snacks.  Game-day food is my forte: tasty treats are miniaturized, and traditional snacks can be twisted in fun ways to feed a crowd perfectly.  From appetizers to desserts, any of these simple, comforting, and incredibly delicious dishes would be perfect to bring to a Superbowl bash or serve at your own.
