entertain me -- valentine's day tea party.

ATTAINABLE: So Low Jersey Mini Dress in Ink (also in Black and Medium Heather)
www.shopbop.com; $77
There's something to be said for simplicity -- in decor, in entertaining, and most certainly in a wardrobe.  Simplicity is the reason I find myself reaching for my favorite jeans day in and day out.  It's my favorite little black dress and my brown riding boots.  And it's definitely the name of the game when it comes to this sweet little jersey dress.  I love the easy shape, cinched waist, and unique blue hue -- and I think that one of these in each color would be the perfect solution for the daily struggle of what to reach for in my closet.

It's easy for February to feel absolutely endless -- it's cold, dreary, and there's not a lot of excitement.  Valentine's Day breaks up the monotony nicely, a splash of pink and red right in the middle of the month.  And I think that a tea party is the perfect way to celebrate this sweet holiday with friends -- it's feminine, cheery, and just plain fun.  So break out your favorite cream-colored dress and best lace tablecloths.

I love those invitations! We dont really celebrate Valentine's day that much here but who needs an excuse for a small present to/from the loved one, right? :)
