pretty things -- rose gold.

ATTAINABLE: Pilcro Dotted Denim Pencil Skirt
www.anthropologie.com; $88
I adore pencil skirts.  I think that they're so sleek and incredibly chic.  But they can, admittedly, become a bit dull if you have a closet full of virtually identical ones.  Enter: this charming little number by Pilcro.  Still conservative enough for casual Friday the office, the polka dots add just enough whimsy to keep it fun but don't overpower the conservative shape.  Perfect with a simple button-down, pumps, and minimal jewelry to let the skirt really shine.
I'm having a definite love affair with rose gold right now.  I've always been drawn to gold jewelry over silver, but I find that rose gold has such a warm quality to it that helps to warm up even the palest of skin in the wintertime.  Whether in a chunky bangle or a delicate necklace, this hue is pretty, feminine, and incredibly versatile, making it perfect for a springtime transition as well.

Gabriela Artigas Knot Ring
www.shopbop.com; $198
Delicate rings are one of my favorite ways to add just a bit of extra sophistication and prettiness to any look.  This rose gold Gabriela Artigas ring is just the ticket.  It's thin and wouldn't draw loads of attention, but getting close enough reveals the careful craftsmanship and high quality -- a perfect everyday piece.

House of Harlow Stone Talon Necklace in Palladium/Rose Gold
www.revolveclothing.com; $85
The detail in this piece is what makes it truly spectacular.  From the smooth, polished pendant to the tiny ridges on the talon, thought has gone into every facet of this necklace.  It would stand out beautifully against a plain white tee, but would also layer nicely with a slew of other gold necklaces.

Juicy Couture Gemstone Stud Set of 2 Earrings in Vintage Rose
www.revolveclothing.com; $68
Another gorgeous set of everyday pieces, these earrings by Juicy Couture are deceptively simple.  I'm particularly drawn to the pyramid studs -- I love that you can see bits of the rose gold peeking out through the stones -- and think that they'd be a fantastic way to warm up a face.

Rebecca Minkoff Studs Watchband Bracelet
www.shopbop.com; $98
My major love of men's-style watches isn't limited to just functional ones; I think it's the design that I'm really drawn to.  This Rebecca Minkoff bracelet is a fun twist on the trend, featuring a set of studs instead of a face for a look that's a little tough but still pretty.  Best of all, there's no clasp to deal with, making it ideal to slip on as you hurry out the door.

How are YOU feeling about rose gold?
xo Josie

I've always loved rise gold. It's so girly and feminine, and not nearly as harsh as I find regular gold to be

Love love love that knot/infinity ring! I love rose gold a lot more than yellow gold. I wear more platinum & silver, and find the rose gold is such a nice, modern, yet romantic complement!

Rose gold is so fun! I worried that it would be a passing fad but it's had some staying power. :)
