ATTAINABLE: Kimchi Blue Structured Peplum Top in Blush (also in Cream, Blue, and Black)
www.urbanoutfitters.com; sale (now) $29
I've been a lover of the peplum for months, but have yet to invest in a piece of my own. I think the look is so charming, but it can be a tricky shape to pull off and can look either little-girl or cheap far too easily. This structured tank from Urban Outfitters is just the ticket: the sharp pleats look clean, the structure is brilliant, and it comes in a bevy of pretty colors -- absolutely brilliant.
Although I don't often wear sneakers, I find myself drawn to the fun versions popping up all over the stores right now. From the classic Converse to funky wedge sneakers, these shoes are definitely not just for the tennis courts and gym any more. I love the bold colors and shimmering metallics that are hot right now and think that I may have to pick up a pair as a fun alternative to ballet flats come spring.
DEAL: Converse Chuck Taylor Low Sneaker (Women) in Red (available in a variety of hues)
www.nordstrom.com; $44.95
It doesn't get any more classic than a pair of good old Chuck Taylors. While the hi-tops are unequivocally fun and quirky, I love that low-tops can be worn unlaced with shorts for a super-casual Sunday-at-the-farmer's-market look. In a huge variety of shades and patterns, you're sure to find the perfect pair to reflect your personality.
EXTRAVAGANCE: Frye Kira Studded High Top
www.revolveclothing.com; $188
They're gold leather high-tops. With studs. It just doesn't get cooler than that. I'm not generally one to suggest lacing a pair of sneakers over your skinny jeans, but I think that these are totally worthy -- especially paired with a beautifully-tailored black blazer and sparkly top.
DEAL: Women's Xhilaration Shayenne High Top in Grey
www.target.com; $34.99
If you're a little unsure about the wedge sneaker trend, Target has again come to the rescue with an inexpensive way to test out the style. Taking comfort to new heights (literally), these shoes are sure to add a little extra funk to basic jeans and a fitted V-neck. Bonus points if you add a leather blazer or motorcycle jacket.
EXTRAVAGANCE: Ash Coca Wedge Sneakers
www.shopbop.com; $250
If, however, you've fallen head-over-heels for the wedge sneaker, this charming pair is sure to steal your heart. I love the color contrast between the teal and cocoa brown hues, and the textures are nothing short of brilliant.
Will YOU be wearing sneakers this spring?
xo Josie

Black chuck Taylors are a constant staple in my closet.
White converse! Im getting a pair this weekend!
:)
I actually still have pairs of black, green, and pink Chucks from when I was in high school. Even though I now find them to be unflattering on me, I still hold on to them! Maybe I'll see if I can make them work this spring! :)
I love the Ash Coca's. What a cool color combo!

I'm currently loving the wedge sneaker trend, too. Hoping I can afford to grab some later this month once I've trimmed off 60 years and shredded the hot grandma cane trend
I love the sneakers!, are casual and chic!
Kisses.
chucks are so classic! I don't think there are other sneakers I would wear!

I love peplum as well, but I'm not a fan of sneakers! Although they look cute on some people, I just don't think they're my style.
I have been seeing theses sneakers quite a bit, and they are definitely cool.
