COVETING: Joie Lebanon Lace Dress in Midnight
www.revolveclothing.com; $345
Finding the perfect cocktail dress for the cool-weather months can certainly be tricky. You need something pretty and chic but not too revealing, with enough color depth and embellishment to stand up to the forthcoming holiday season. As partial as I am to a great little black dress, I think that this Joie one is the perfect alternative to the go-to cocktail frock. I love the lace, the shape, and the pretty cap sleeves, and the midnight-blue hue is positively brilliant.
October has officially arrived, meaning that my (constant) cravings for Halloween candy are justified, pumpkins and gourds are the perfect decor for any occasion, and crisp leaves are falling everywhere. As far as I'm concerned, there's no better excuse for a pre-holiday party than the celebration of fall, and a pumpkin-carving soiree seems to be just the thing. Take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and host friends for a bring-your-own pumpkin soiree filled with warm comfort food, bright autumn decorations, lots of laughs, and plenty of fall fun.
{bright, simple decorations get everyone in a festive mood}
{a fun set of pumpkin templates makes creative carving easy}
{individual portions of mac and cheese are the perfect portable fall comfort food}
{these apple spice cupcakes with salted caramel frosting would make the sweetest ending to your party}
How are YOU entertaining this fall?
xo Josie

I can't wait to carve pumpkins. I keep seeing on pinterest that you can hammer a cookie cutter into one to cut out shapes...might have to try that this year!
cupcakes make the best Halloween appetizers!!!!

15 days and I'll in be in Dallas shoppng like crazy!
That is one of my favorite Joie dresses!! I feel like it would be the perfect investment piece that you could wear to numerous occasions!

That dress is a beauty! I'm loving the deep green this fall!
Thank you for the link to the templates! Will definitely be using those later in the month :)
I love that dress! I always have a hard time staying from black (I think half of my closet is composed of all black items) but the blue color is gorgeous.
Also, now I am craving cupcakes! Because the Carrot cake, and sinamon roll I ALREADY had this morning weren't enough, right? (:
Those cupcakes look amazing!!
Lovely dress! not sure we're gonna be entertaining this fall because my sister and I are moving in November and we started packing already which is a hassle with school, work, & blog
