I've already harped on my love of printed pants for fall, but this pair of trousers by Joe's Jeans takes the obsession to a new level entirely.  I love the classic, chic colors and the simple plaid print.  The easy shape and rolled cuffs make the trousers feel relaxed, but they stop short of being sloppy.  Perfect paired with sweet ballet flats for day or a pair of killer stilettos come evening.

I love holidays.  Love them.  I'm the first one seated at the table at Thanksgiving, I can spend hours browsing the candy aisles come Valentine's Day, and winter for me is marked by the smell of evergreen boughs and the glimmer of twinkle lights.  For some reason, however, I've never been the biggest fan of Halloween.  You'd think I'd be a huge proponent: the day involves candy and dressing up, for goodness' sake.  I finally figured out what the discord is: the decorations.  From plastic skeletons to the traditional Jack-O-Lantern, they cross into kitschy so quickly.  Luckily, I've found all kinds of inspiration this year to decorate in a way that's sophisticated and spooky rather than childlike and cheesy.
