I have a serious crush on these killer platform sandals.  I love the two tone style and the chunky heel.  The platform is so chic, and the ankle strap is super ladylike.  I think that these would be the perfect late-summer addition to my wardrobe.  How sweet would they be with a pleated skirt or shown off by a hi-low hem for a breezy summer night out?

Although sports aren't generally my thing, I'll admit it -- I've been swept up into Olympic fever.  I suddenly find myself caring about every one of Michael Phelps' races and tearing up over Gabby Douglas' inspirational story.  And as far as I'm concerned, the Olympics are a fantastic excuse to stay ensconced in an air-conditioned den with good friends, cheering on the red, white, and blue.  So this weekend, consider throwing an impromptu viewing party stepped up a notch or two with fun themed decorations and, of course, food.  After all, it's all in the name of patriotism.
