COVETING: Patterson J. Kincaid Darling Lace Dress
www.shopbop.com; $178
There are so many perfect, summery elements to this dress that I simply can't decide quite which one is my favorite. Perhaps it's the bold yellow shade or the flirty lace that I find so endearing. Maybe it's the elbow-length sleeves or the flirty length, or the subtle pleating at the neckline. Regardless, I think that this frock would be perfect to take me anywhere this summer, from lunch to cocktail parties.
This weekend, I'll be moving to spend the rest of my summer as an intern in the city that never sleeps. To say that I'm excited would be an understatement -- visions of Saturdays in Central Park, Shake Shack, and street fairs are dancing in my head. I can't wait to spend my first full summer in the city and take in all that it has to offer. Please send any must-do recommendations that you have for my months ahead in Manhattan -- I can't wait to share them with all of you!
I'll be taking Monday off to get settled -- see you Wednesday!
xo Josie

How exciting! I did a summer internship in New York and it was such a blast. There are so many fun things to do. I loved walking on the Brooklyn Bridge and eating at Grimaldi's. Also, there's just so many amazing restaurants and the food there is so good. Have such a blast!
