entertain me -- summer floral arrangements.

ATTAINABLE: ASOS Mini Tulip Dress with Flute Sleeves in Pastel Printwww.asos.com; $66.10 There's something so retro and undeniably chic about this dress that makes it perfect for summer.  I love that the shape is clean but the pleating details make it so unique.  The pretty mint shade and fun print are icing on the cake, making this frock perfect to be paired with nude pumps and a sleek clutch for a ladylike look.
Floral arrangements are one part of entertaining that I think is so important but admittedly find stressful.  The right flowers can certainly set the tone for a party: is it a sophisticated event or a more relaxed affair?  More importantly, the wrong ones can send a totally unwanted (read: stuffy) vibe.  I'm terrible at arranging flowers but have several summertime favorites (I prefer tall, clean ones in whites and brights) that even I can usually manage, at least when kept simple.
