good enough to eat -- spring produce.

www.shopbop.com; $225
These shorts are everything that a spring wardrobe piece should be.  They're light, feminine, and in a fabulous color.  The pleats are charming, and the bow is absolutely adorable.  I'm especially fond of the extra-sweet scalloped trim.  With these pretty shorts, all you'd need would be a simple white tee and pair of flat metallic sandals to let them shine.

One of my very favorite things about spring (this is aside from the occasional appearance of sunshine, bright nail colors, and breaking out my sandals for the season) is the fresh produce that comes along with it.  I find everything about it so beautiful and inspiring: the colors, the smells -- and, naturally, it makes me want to get into the kitchen immediately.  I'll certainly be repeating my favorite recipes this year, but there are several that wormed their way to the top of my "to do" list immediately after my weekend farmers' market trip.

I have been craving cobbler. RBB isn't a fan but I love it. Especially with ice cream melting over the top.

omg, that milkshake looks decadent. i love trying new recipes in the spring too, something about eating light and healthy. also, i can open the windows of my apartment so the garlic/onion smell can escape. i'm excited to try out some healthy dessert recipes that I'm thinking of. if they taste good, i'll post. :-) love those shorts.

Wow, that flatbread looks amazing! I agree that there is something about Spring/Summer that makes us crave more fruits and veggies. I think for me, it's the high heat! It gets so unbearable here where I live that anything cold sounds perfect!

I left a comment! I swear! And now I need to eat all these foods out of sheer frustration.
