good enough to eat -- favorite food blogs.

COVETING: WISH Myla Cami in Tan (also in Ivory)
www.alibionline.com; retail $89.95
Yes, please. When WISH offered to send me their latest lookbook, I was ecstatic. I'm obsessed with the brand's pretty, ethereal pieces, and their spring collection was certainly no exception. In floaty, neutral fabrics, everything I'm craving right now was encompassed in several pages. This cami is one of my favorite pieces, with its floaty shape and lace-detailed placket. I'd love to style this with a pair of high-waisted wide-leg jeans and wedges or a fantastic pair of white shorts, flat metallic sandals, and an armful of wooden bangles. Too pretty for words.

My great love of cooking and baking is known to anyone who has ever met me -- the beneficiaries of my careful recipe honing -- but it's something that I've rarely shared on With a Wink and a Smile (barring a guest post at the fabulous Lemons and Laundry about my infamous chocolate chip cookies). I've decided that it's time for this to change. Although I rarely cook at school, it's one of my favorite things to do when I'm at home. As I prepare for finals (and procrastinate like it's my job), food blogs have become my obsession. To be fair, actually, any blog featuring recipes has really become my vice. I've been bookmarking dishes for weeks and am excited to master them this summer. I thought I'd share some of my new favorite places to find recipes and give you a little taste of what's to come.

Those all look amazing! My dad has always been a huge cooking inspiration to me. He has a favorite chef of the month typically, and studies their techniques and cookbooks until he perfects as many recipes as possible. It's a pretty time-consuming hobby, but we all benefit greatly! (I can't wait to go home to home-cooked meals. Nothing beats them :)

I adore visiting food blogs and skimming through cook books... but unfortunately, it usually stops with "window shopping". I am just not a cook, but I think it's fab! Maybe one day...

Hope you have a wonderful day, Love!

I'm so excited to learn about a new food blog (picky palate), it's been my goal (since last week) to learn how to good. I can feed myself just fine. I usually cook simple things, but i realized I don't know how to many anything particularly impressive. I want to be able to cook delicious things to share with my friends and family. Since I decided this, I've been all about food blogs - so much inspiration!! I'm always happy to see more. I hope you'll be sharing some of your recipes too!
